March 6th at sundown begins the “Festival of Purim” through sundown on March 7th in Israel which commemorates the victory for Israel won over the forces of evil by Queen Esther. Mark it on your calendar with me!
During this feast, the Jewish people will gather together in celebration in Israel and around the world, and in commemoration of the saving of the Jewish people from Haman, who had plotted to kill all of the Jewish people. This is a day of deliverance!
On this day, I want to pray along with my ministry staff, and agree with you for your deliverance and freedom from the forces of darkness and also specific declarations of FAVOR over you- just like Esther! Around the world, the Jewish people read the entire book of Esther over and over again during this time. Let me talk to you from my heart because I want us to stand with God’s people during this special event!

You are about to be covered with Favor!
I believe that God has raised you up for such a time as this. There’s an anointing, a gift, there’s a calling upon your life. But often we don’t understand the fullness of God’s plan. We ask questions like, “How will you ever use me to do great things?” But today I want to talk to you about the spirit of Esther, the anointing of Esther that is upon your life.
You see, when I talk about ‘The spirit of Esther’, it’s not a gender like ‘only female’, it is a spirit… that God has raised you up and positioned you. When you really begin to see Esther, the first five chapters are all about the providence of God. It’s about His sovereign plan. It’s about God knowing what is ahead before it ever begins to happen. And God already has a solution. There is a prophecy weighed against the problem.
Yes, there would be a Haman. Yes, there would be a spirit of destruction. Yes, there would be a ‘spirit of waster’. But God already had an Esther. God already had a woman, a man, that would stand in the gap and would not be afraid. They knew that, as Esther said, “if I perish, I perish.” But it could be that God has positioned you for such a time as this.
And I believe that anointing is going to be released upon your life. I believe that God is going to activate giftings, callings and anointing to fresh mantle’s, that you will understand your purpose for the kingdom of God, whether it’s in the marketplace, whether it’s in a governmental place, whether it is in the church, whatever area that God wants to use you! You might say, “but Paula, I’m just a mom, I’m a housewife. I’m a doctor, I’m a lawyer…”
God has a very specific plan for you. So let’s look at how God does this because there’s some key principles that you have to understand that release that anointing, that release you into the purpose and the will of God, for you had been raised up for such a time as this.
There’s an enemy after your family and after this nation. Don’t forget, we’re not wrestling against flesh and blood. The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 10:4 that we don’t wage war as a world does, that our weapons are not worldly. But our weapons demolish strongholds. When we pray, when we fast, when we stand in position, when we stand in the covenant with God through His Son, Jesus Christ, that stronghold over your family, over your calling is going to be demolished in the name of Jesus.
The whole Book of Esther is about God finding someone, God partnering with someone in the earth, to destroy the spirit of Haman.
In your Bible we read in Esther 4:13-17:“Mordecai (a Jewish man) sent this reply to Esther (his niece): “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: “Go and gather together all the Jews of Shushan and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.” So Mordecai went away and did everything as Esther had ordered him.”
Here is what God is saying in this season of 2023: If you hold your peace, If you do not participate, If you hold back now, If you miss this moment… There will still be enlargement and deliverance for God’s people and His purposes, but God can’t use you! Do not miss your moment! You are in position for such a time as this! This is an important year – Go forward boldly into your destiny in the courage and spirit of Esther! God has assigned you.
The question I want you to consider is: “Has God raised you up for such a time as this?” To CHANGE your life and the lives of others? Could it be that all the things you have gone through have been to position and equip you as a child of His Kingdom “for such a time as this?” Listen… God is saying, “I have you”!
