BACK TO SCHOOL BASH 2021 WAS A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS!
This past week was such a blessing to so many children and their families at our Annual Back to School Bash on Aug 4th-6th. I am so grateful for every Covenant Partner and Ministry Friend that made a difference with their generous support and faithful prayers.
This year we made a difference at 2 locations- City of Destiny & Wheatley Elementary!
We were able to hand out backpacks filled with school supplies and shoes to so many families at City of Destiny, and we changed the format from our usual event inside our gym to a drive-up system, where we brought everything they needed to them right at their car. We were able to provide haircuts and physicals, as well as hand out food… 🙂
We were also able to provide all the necessary resources and supplies for Wheatley Elementary- including backpacks, school supplies, classroom resources, shoes, refurnishing the teachers lounge, and MORE!
I even got an opportunity to pray over them before they go into a new school year and guide our precious children… GOD IS SO GREAT!
