Resurrection Power Is Within You!

Because of God’s love for YOU, He gave His only begotten Son. We worship in the supernatural power of His Resurrection and the Supremacy of Christ, and we see the history and foreshadowing of THE Passover Lamb…

This season is what it is all about, the blood of Jesus Christ!

I want to remind you that God doesn’t just help you cope or simply get through things… He raises what looked dead. He literally resurrects things. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead comes to awaken dreams, promises, and callings that have gone dormant. What you thought was buried, He calls forth. What felt locked up and sealed, He rolls away the stone and shows you the way.

What needs to be resurrected in your life?

Scripture says, “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you” (Romans 8:11, NLT). There is resurrection power working in you right NOW.

Resurrection power doesn’t just fix issues. It brings supernatural strength where there was weakness. Hope where there was despair. Vision where there was confusion. You don’t just start again as you were. You rise changed, renewed, and re-centered in purpose. 

What in your life is worth fighting for? Where do you need God’s resurrection power to come in like a mighty wind, breathing new life? Your marriage? Your career? Your relationship with your children or grandchildren? Your health? Here is the answer: ALL OF IT. And God can and will do it! 

Palm Sunday is March 29th, this is where we celebrate the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem that kickstarts the holiest week of the year! Hosanna!

Passover this year starts on the evening of April 1st and continues through April 9th. It’s a time of remembrance and transition. It’s a feast that God told the Israelites to keep forever to remember when and how He delivered them from Egypt. Passover points us to deliverance, covenant, and God making a way where there appeared to be none. 

You have heard me say that as born again believers, we’re not held under the law, but we know there are spiritual implications of God’s divine appointments and He has invited us to join them on these occasions. The Passover Season is ALL ABOUT the BLOOD of Jesus!

Good Friday is Friday, April 3rd, and this is where we stand in awe of God’s immense love for us that He was actually willing to give the Ultimate Sacrifice because He cares so much for you and I. He went to the cross and paid the price, a price we cannot imagine. Jesus declared from His Cross, “IT IS FINISHED.” This was not a cry of defeat, but of victory!

Then Easter Resurrection Sunday, April 5th, Mark 16 says, ““You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here.” Our Lord and Savior conquered death, hell and the grave. Now everything in your life can be resurrected and you can experience the fullness and abundance He desires for you!

Passover reminds us that Jesus is the Lamb of God. But you’ve got to understand that Passover was just the beginning. The resurrection of the Lamb of God takes us beyond deliverance and into new life. Good Friday is the cost. Resurrection Sunday is the victory.

You can walk in resurrection power because of what Jesus did for you on the cross. The new beginnings in your life are possible because the resurrection was purchased. This wonderful benefit as believers carries authority because the cross settled the debt once and for all.

Jesus did not go to the cross as a symbol. He went as our substitute. On Good Friday, He became the atoning sacrifice, fully paying the price for your sin, your failures, and every shortcoming you could never overcome on your own. What sin froze, grace reactivated. What disobedience broke, obedience restored.

At the cross, a divinely ordained exchange took place. God placed on Jesus everything that was due to you by justice so that everything Jesus earned through His sinless obedience could be made available to you.

Jesus was scourged so you could be forgiven. “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, We have turned, each one, to his own way; But the Lord has caused the wickedness of us all [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing] To fall on Him [instead of us]” (Isaiah 53:5-6, AMP).

Jesus was wounded so you could be healed. Jesus was made sin with your sinfulness so you could be made righteous with His righteousness. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21, NKJV).

Jesus died your death so you could share His life. He conquered the grave so resurrection power could live in you NOW, not someday. “But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ…. that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection” (Philippians 3:7,10, NKJV). 

Jesus was made a curse so you could receive the blessing. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Galatians 3:13-14, NKJV).

Jesus endured poverty so you could walk in abundance. He bore shame so you could share His glory. He endured rejection so you could live in acceptance. Your old nature died in Him so new life could rise in you. 

“Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him” (Romans 6:6-8, NKJV).

This is why resurrection power is not a concept. IT’S A COVENANT REALITY.
