Prayer, or communication with God, is vital to living a victorious life in Christ and how we relate to God through Jesus Christ.
But HOW do we pray? Even the disciples asked this question. We all want to know how to pray! The book of James says, “The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16, NKJV). Prayer keeps you in tune with God’s heart, God’s voice, and His direction for your life.
The Bible is a divinely inspired revelation of God, guiding faith and life through its timeless teachings. Spanning 1,500 years and authored by diverse individuals, it remains the foundation of Christian faith, shaping beliefs and practices across generations.
I recorded a special video to share what it means to commit your heart to God and make heaven your eternal home. I invite you to watch it and prayerfully consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
If you’ve made the decision to follow Christ, I want to celebrate with you! Please fill out the form below and let me know about your salvation experience—welcome to the family of God.
To help you get started, I’d love to send you a free downloadable book called “The Miracle of God’s Grace.” It’s a powerful resource to guide and encourage you in your new walk with the Lord.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we don’t just get a fresh start—we become a brand-new creation. That’s what it means to be born again. Salvation is not about religion—it’s about a supernatural rebirth. In that moment, the blood of Jesus washes us clean, our sins are forgiven, and we are made right with God. We are saved by grace through faith, not by our works, but by His finished work on the cross. Heaven becomes our home, and the Holy Spirit begins to dwell within us. That’s the power of salvation—it changes everything. There is only one way, one road to salvation—it’s through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we were to define salvation, we might say that it is the act of deliverance, by the grace of God, from eternal punishment for sin. This salvation is given to those who accept, by faith, God’s conditions of repentance and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ (see John 3:16-17; Romans 5:10; Ephesians 2:5, 8; Acts 4:12; Romans 1:16; Romans 10:9, 10, 13; John 14:6).
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16, KJV).
Most people live their entire lives without ever knowing “Why?” They exist year after year with no idea of why they live or God’s purpose for their lives.
The most basic question a person can ask is, “What is the meaning of life?”
Everyone wants to be happy. People try many ways. Some look for happiness by acquiring possessions. Some look for happiness by experiencing pleasure. Some look for happiness by gaining prestige and power.
But real happiness comes from understanding your purpose in life.
God made you and loves you! He has a personal and purposeful plan for your life! God wants you to live your life to the fullest. Why then aren’t most people really happy?
Man has a natural desire to be the boss and ignore God’s principles for living. The Bible calls this the Sins of attitude. Sins of attitude include false pride, unjust anger, bitterness, envy, malicious hatred, etc. Sin keeps us from a close relationship with God. It causes us to fear God and try to live our lives outside of His will. When our relationship with God is not right, it causes problems in every area of our life – marriage, career, relationships, finances, etc.
“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard” (Romans 3:23, NLT).
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23, NLT).
Romans 3:23 says it this way: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (NIV). Knowing Jesus is simply acknowledging your need for Him, believing what He did for you, and accepting His amazing gift. It recognizes that you can’t live this life on your own, that you’ve sinned and are in need of a Savior.
And the good news about knowing Jesus, about being saved, is the beautiful exchange that happens in that moment. You give Him all the bad and sinful things you’ve done, and in return, God gives you everything He has for you. Whether you know it or not yet, His plan for your life is amazing, and this is the first step on that journey.
“No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God” (1 John 3:9, NIV).
Because of the power of being born again, a new spiritual life and changes begins to happen in our lives. You will never completely overcome while here on earth, but there should be a change from “glory to glory” as time passes and as you grow closer to Christ. You’ll see progressive, mature growth as a believer and experience victories in Him!
Once we are born again, we have a new spirit and therefore new desires. This enables us to resist temptations, overcome sin and live for God! By His Holy Spirit and the power of the blood of Jesus, we are becoming holy. The reason why we can do this is because we have been born of God.
There is a permanent break from the ruling power that once dominated our lives. We now have been awakened spiritually and have power to overcome all things through Christ Jesus!
Father, it is written in your word that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that you have raised Him from the dead. I will be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and make Him Lord of my life right now. I renounce my past life with Satan and close the door to any of his devices.
I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. I have a new life in Christ. Old things have passed away.
I thank you for forgiving me of all sins, by the blood of Jesus. I am saved and justified by faith. Jesus became sin that I might become the righteousness of God.
I am now your child, God. I have been born again and am made new in Christ Jesus. Holy Spirit, help me to live the life that God has for me.
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (NIV).
Isn’t it comforting to know there’s a plan for your life? Regardless of what’s happened along the way, regardless of the wrong turns and missteps, God has been leading you to this very moment. In fact, He’s been leading you right to Himself. The fact of the matter is your ultimate hope and future both lie in Him.
That simply means, you can live your whole life with and for Jesus. And because of Him, because of His promise to never leave you or forsake you, you’ve now got something to be very excited about!
You may be asking yourself, What do I do now that I’ve accepted Christ? It’s a great question after you’ve taken your first step. Though today you may not feel any different, know that Christ has started working on the inside of you.
Colossians 2:6-7 says, “And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness” (NLT). Those roots are established along the way through prayer, the reading of the Bible (which is God’s Word), and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and direct you.
