Passover is all about God’s redeeming power on earth – your deliverance, freedom, and protection by the Blood of the Lamb!

This is one of the most exciting, life-changing, miracle-working seasons of the whole year – the Passover Season! It is a part of your spiritual heritage that God designed as His own Holy Days with specific instructions given for their observance.

The upcoming holy season of Passover –is the first of God’s three biblically significant commanded feast seasons or celebrations instituted by God himself to eternally honor Him: Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. They are God’s APPOINTED HOLY DAYS with specific instructions by Him for their observance as recorded in Deuteronomy 16:16: 

“Three times a year all your males (and females) shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread,(Passover) at the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), and at the Feast of Tabernacles (Atonement); and THEY SHALL NOT APPEAR BEFORE THE LORD EMPTY-HANDED.” Passover is sundown April 12 – April 20! 

Why is this APPOINTMENT so important to us as Christians?  Passover is a foundational pillar of our faith and a set time for celebration on God’s heavenly calendar for our release from the struggles and bondages of the past and the freedom that can only be found in Christ Jesus.  PASSOVER IS A VITAL PART OF OUR FAITH STORY!

In Exodus 12:13 God declared:  “Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.”

God told Moses in Exodus 12:24: “And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance FOREVER!”

In Old Testament Hebrew, Passover literally means “protection,” and it comes from the specific instructions given by God to those marked with the blood of an innocent lamb. This, of course, was a foreshadowing of our Savior, the Lamb of God, who shed His sinless Blood on Calvary for you and I!

Jesus celebrated the Passover with the Disciples… and He instituted The Lord’s Supper!

Just like the early Church of New Testament believers, it is vital to every aspect of our lives that we recognize that God’s COMMANDED APPOINTMENT with us is an OPPORTUNITY to HONOR Him for everything He has done in our lives – to everything He has PROMISED to do when we respond to His command in faith and obedience.

Passover is truly a CELEBRATION of WHO He is to us! 

The eight days of Passover, established by God on the foundation of His Blood covenant with mankind, begins this year at sundown on April 12th through sundown April 20th. What an opportunity to honor God for sending His Son, JESUS CHRIST to shed His redeeming Blood for YOU!

Don’t miss this divine appointment… It is only through the power of Jesus’ sacrificial Blood on the Cross that you and your family are able to receive salvation, healing, protection, deliverance, restoration, and supernatural victory! 

Leviticus 23:2 reveals just how important these feast seasons are to God: “concerning the feasts of the lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are MY feasts.”  They are not to be taken lightly or ignored as ancient history. Each one is a set time when God wants to release very specific blessings into our lives that are only available this one time every year. 

Everyone who enters into this holy celebration of Passover doesn’t come empty-handed. Honor God during Passover with your best offering, I believe He will release His blessings over your life.  

This is a time to honor God on the basis of the blood of Jesus Christ. You put yourself in “alignment” by honoring God!

Divine Alignment is when we begin to walk in the counsel of God and His original intention. To be “in alignment” means to be in a position of agreement with someone or something.

• Recognize your divine opportunity and don’t miss your moment
• Yield completely to the Holy Spirit’s work in your life
• Be willing to develop yourself spiritually, educationally, and socially
• Focus on your specific calling and gifts
• Remove distractions and demonic spirits that pull you away from your purpose
• Trust God’s timing and sovereignty
• Be prepared to serve in your unique position
• Commit your entire life (body, mind, finances, family) to God’s plan

And honoring God is not simply about “money”, honoring God is living a life obedient to God, in alignment with God! This is living a life of worship, dedication and sacrifice.

Giving is an important part of that, and this is a time to do so with a sacrifice. This is a time, a “Divine Appointment, or Moed (season or appointed time).”

This is a special time, a Divine Appointment, where God says, “Halt from the pressures of life, and remember Me! I’m BIGGER than the Red Sea, I’m BIGGER than Pharaoh, I’m BIGGER than the pressures you face… I have a date of deliverance, of freedom, of protection.”

His Blood, His Sacrifice, His Resurrection Power

This is a time to honor God on the basis of the Blood of Jesus! God is BIGGER than sickness, He is BIGGER than death, He is BIGGER than disease, He is BIGGER than turmoil, He is BIGGER than your finances…

Remember, we don’t “give to get,” we GET TO GIVE!
