Paula White Ministries participates in U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Communities of Faith and Opportunity Summit…
On September 27 Paula White Ministries participated in the inaugural Communities of Faith and Opportunity Summit hosted by the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. The one-day event was moderated by Mike Beatty, the Director for the Office of Faith and Opportunity at the Department of Agriculture and one of the leaders for the White House Office of Faith and Opportunity Initiative. The summit brought together communities, government agencies, educational institutions and faith-based organizations from nine different states, including Puerto Rico to discuss best practices for making rural communities stronger through collaborative and strategic partnerships.
Todd Lamphere, Pastor of Global Outreach for PWM, spoke to the delegation of 150 community leaders on the importance of directed engagement with the faith community and the power that comes through a partnership with the President’s inter-agency Faith Directors. Pastor Lamphere shared the lessons learned and the synergy created from PWM’s deliberate decision to connect churches to resources in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria on the island of Puerto Rico.
The impact from Pastor Paula and Paula White Ministries in our nation’s Capitol is being felt every day. Continue to lift up Pastor Paula as she leads our country back to righteousness.
