I am pleased to announce my support of President Donald J. Trump’s signed agreement with Mexico and Canada in the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). I support the new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) as it will be a mutually beneficial win for North American farmers, ranchers, businesses, and workers.
Americans are the most compassionate and generous people on the planet and I believe when Americans prosper, the world becomes the beneficiary. The new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement will create more balanced, reciprocal trade that supports high-paying jobs for Americans and grows the North American economy.
All agreements over time need to be re-evaluated and adjusted and the 24 year old NAFTA needed to be replaced with the more America friendly USMCA. I am confident the prosperity that results from this new trade agreement will be used help the hurting around the world.
