On February 7th Pastor Paula and Jonathan Cain joined award-winning artist Michael W. Smith and Danny Gokey at the CityServe International Frontline Heroes benefit concert held in Nashville, Tennessee, to honor the heroes of the wars in Ukraine and Israel. Pastor Paula kicked off the event with a powerful word of encouragement to keep fighting for the defenseless and to always help the hurting.
Over the past several years Paula White Ministries has teamed up with CityServe to bring aid and hope to devastated regions around the world. When the war broke out in Ukraine, Pastor Paula mobilized the faith community to bring the first million of three million meals to Ukraine. Partnering with CityServe, No Child Hungry and Intercessors for America, the work in Ukraine continues with housing, food and mental health care to those impacted by the war.
When the war broke out in Israel, Paula White Ministries was one of the first organizations on the ground to bring relieve to communities ravished by the Hamas terrorist attacks. Once again, teaming up with CityServe, Paula White Ministries adopted the moshav of Ein HaBesor, helping meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the 1,200 resident community. Pastor Paula believes in resourcing ministries whose mission is to assist those in need in a war torn region. “It is important for us to support ministries like CityServe Israel and Israel365,” said Pastor Paula. “These ministries were there meeting needs before the war started and are going to be there long after the war ends.” Pastor Paula believes the greatest use of God’s resources are accomplished when funneled through boots on the ground organizations.
