In an unprecedented and deeply God-honoring moment, the shores of Huntington Beach were transformed into sacred ground as Baptize California 2025 brought together over 30,000 attendees for what is now recognized as the largest mass baptism in recorded history. On this historic day, 7,750 individuals made public declarations of their faith and were baptized in the Pacific Ocean.
Over 500 churches from across California came together in a spirit of revival, renewal and unity to experience a mighty move of God. The power of God was evident as people of all ages and backgrounds stepped into the water to be baptized by pastors and ministry leaders from every corner of the state.
Worship filled the beach throughout the day from a lineup of renowned Christian artists including Sean Feucht, Oceans Music, Bethany Worship and Kari Jobe, alongside her husband Cody Carnes.
Paula White Ministries participated in the mass baptisms as Todd Lamphere, Global Outreach Pastor for PWM, was on hand to assist in baptizing the thousands who came forward to publicly affirm their faith in Christ.
This mass baptism is part of a broader movement of revival sweeping the country, with Baptize America scheduled for Pentecost Sunday, June 8, 2025. Pastor Mark Francey, the visionary behind Baptize California, is leading the charge as this move of God expands beyond state lines to sweep across the nation.
