March 30th is Passover – Don’t Miss Your Supernatural Appointment with God!

We are entering into one of the most life-changing, miracle-working seasons of the entire year – Passover, Easter, and the Resurrection.

The season of Passover is a vital part of your Christian heritage.  Passover celebrates Israel’s deliverance from Egypt after following God’s instruction to apply the blood of a sacrificial lamb to their doorpost, causing the death angel to ‘pass over’ their home.

In Exodus 12:14 God commanded the Israelites to observe the Feast (or appointed time) of Passover each year after that: “This day shall be unto for a memorial and ye shall keep it a feast (a divine appointment) to the Lord throughout your generations…FOREVER.”

God also commanded that to commemorate the Feast of Passover, each person would bring a sacrificial offering to the house of the Lord: “None shall appear before me empty.” (Exodus 23:15)

For Christians, Jesus Christ became our sacrificial “Passover” —“For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us”  (1 Corinthians 5:7).  When Jesus shared the Last Supper with His disciples, it was during the Feast of Passover – and our communion today was established out of that Passover meal.
